Andre Shen is a Shanghainese writer-director based in New York. His work centers around cross-cultural queer experience with exploration towards femininity and whimsy with his melancholic twist. His latest short, If I Make it to the Morning, screened at MiXMilano and BFI Flare and was selected for FiveFilmsForFreedom2025 to be presented on BFI Player and more.
