After losing the grandfather who raised her, Carmen has developed a carelessness for her own life. In an attempt to cope with the loss, she turns to addiction and ends up going too far. In the moments between life and death Carmen sees her grandfather, Grandpa Al, one last time as he challenges Carmen to choose between letting go of her trauma, or dying with it.

Cassandra Vega, a Youngstown, Ohio native, is an aspiring filmmaker with a dynamic artistic background. From early years spent drawing, painting, and acting to later discoveries in writing, directing, and photography, Cassandra's passion for the arts has been a lifelong journey. Graduating from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2022 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television Production, she is now actively involved in a multitude of post-grad projects, showcasing her diverse skill set across multiple departments.

Cassandra's main focus lies in creating immersive experiences through her films, utilizing the power of sound design to evoke strong emotional connections with her audience. She is dedicated to dismantling the complexities of mental health, challenging family dynamics, and discovering what it means to find your true identity.
