Feeling threatened by her mother’s pregnancy, Juana, a seven-year-old girl, impulsively steals a baby rabbit and runs away to the mountain.

Nostos, ¨a return home¨, is a coming of age story that explores motherhood through a young girl’s eyes and the complexities of domestic life in Latin American society. This film is my attempt to remember, tenderly but acutely, the universe I was part of when I was growing up, specifically my relationship with my mother.
