Ama Buzo is an Albanian-born writer-director who specializes in dark fantasy and striking visuals that create escape worlds. With a background in architecture from Pratt Institute, her films aim to push boundaries through surreal production design and mysterious narratives. 

Throughout her journey at Tisch, she has interned at companies like Gunpowder & Sky and Assemble Media, while also being a part-time cinematographer at AMDA Conservatory of Performing Arts. She's excited to position herself as a director in the commercial/fashion world, while also working towards her first feature.

Previous films have screened at NFFTY, Fantastic Film Fest, UK Fashion Film Festival, Venice Shorts, Topanga Film Festival, Oniros Film Awards, Phoenix Shorts, The Toronto Independent Festival of CIFT, Fusion Film Fest etc.
