Michael Reilly Mango, a proud Texan filmmaker hailing from the vicinity of Dallas, ventured to the bustling streets of New York City in 2020 to pursue his cinematic dreams at NYU Tisch.

As he approaches the culmination of his film school journey, Michael's focus has shifted to his thesis project, "Brother's Keeper."

In this powerful film, he returned to his Texas roots, where he tapped into the heart and soul of the Lone Star State, both as a backdrop and a source of inspiration. Michael's commitment to authenticity shines through as he assembled a remarkable Texas-based cast, capturing the essence of the region's storytelling traditions. With "Brother's Keeper," he endeavors to craft an unforgettable narrative that not only reflects his deep connection to Texas but also marks the next chapter in his promising filmmaking career.
