Evie, a young woman in her mid 20s, is a carer for her father Joseph who is physically disabled. She bathes him, feeds him, and puts him to bed every day. By night however, she is an escort, who exclusively offers her services to those with physical disabilities - in a twisted way, Evie finds that being able to have certain control over the clients allows her to avoid her harsh reality.

One day, Evie meets Terrance, who suffers from visual impairment. Her services to him are far from adequate; she soon begins to take advantage of his disability to do the bare minimum. When stress from being a carer for her father reaches its peak, Evie tries to relieve her stress through her relationship with Terrance. However, that very night, Terrance confronts her lies. What will Evie do? What must she do to escape the vicious cycle?

Haruka is a filmmaker who focuses on conveying stories with precision and sensitivity. Her experiences as an Asian female storyteller has pushed her to always seek the truth and depict the human state in its most vulnerable and at times disoriented way. It is her aim to continue to tell such stories that need to be told.

During her time at NYU, she has worked on shorts varying from narrative to documentary filmmaking. Also pursing her path as a cinematographer, Haruka has shot numerous films including Todo Esta Bien, a short film directed by a fellow NYU film student which won the Audience Choice Award at NYU Sight & Sound Festival 2020 and became a semi-finalist in New York Latino Film Awards 2020.
