In New York City, a culture of isolation and silence exists as the only way for some to stay afloat. The film follows a Chinese deliveryman Kaiwen Wong as he navigates the gritty streets of Brooklyn while trying to make sense of his own inner landscape as an immigrant. Between his degrading treatment at work and his emotionally inept court-ordered shrink, Kaiwen is a ticking time bomb. The only refuge he finds is cruising on his moped between deliveries and Kai, a stunningly beautiful customer whom he’ll go out of his way for just to have a glimpse. This love for Kai turns to ashes when her boyfriend Mu insults Kaiwen and forces him back into his “place.” Eventually, he finds opportunities to release this displaced anger but his methods may do more harm than good.
