A musical film about mental health and gun violence, EVERY OTHER KID tells the story of three high school students as they deal with their mental and emotional struggles. Coming from three different backgrounds and going down three different paths, these students’ lives intersect in a heartbreaking way.
Originally from Newtown, CT, Patrick Godino is a filmmaker based in NYC. He is a graduate of New York University, where he double-majored in Film & TV and Spanish. His passion for filmmaking began at an early age, getting his start making "sequels" to movies like Harry Potter and National Treasure. As he found his voice, he gravitated toward comedic short films, but never strayed completely from more dramatic stories. Currently, he is seeking to distribute his thesis film, "Every Other Kid," while developing a number of other projects. When not directing, Patrick works as a script supervisor or assistant director. In his free time, Patrick enjoys running, playing baseball and listening to music.
