Believing himself to be one of the last humans left in the wake of extinction, a man discovers desire in the company of a weary traveler, forcing him to reckon with his long-repressed sexuality or be left alone forever.
Leaf Lieber is a New York based queer writer/director originally from Kauai, Hawaii.
Lieber has crafted a unique style that exists at the intersection of fantasy and reality with an emphasis on grief and transformation. His work has been showcased both locally and internationally with BFI Flare London, Denver Film Festival, OUTFEST Fusion, NFFTY, the ALTER Curation, and NOWNESS to name a few.
Most recently, his queer experimental short, MY DEAR BOY, premiered at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival in the first queer short section of its kind. He is currently developing his short film, BURROW, into a feature length screenplay.
