After Toby fails at a major rite of passage, he begins to question his identity for the first time in his life, but no one seems to have any answers. When Toby is finally offered information, he is willing to do anything to find the truth.
Sarah (she/her) is a Rhode Island born and raised, New York City based filmmaker. She has directed several short films and music videos and is heavily interested in making live action films that feel animated, while also experimenting with film as a full sensory experience. It is imperative to Sarah that she tells stories that explore aspects of society that people often don’t want to discuss, whether that be because it’s uncomfortable, or upsetting. Sarah finds that forcing these conversations to the forefront helps her grow, and she hopes that it can do the same for others.
