In 1977 Chicago, a mother failed by the courts, discovers her ex-husband took the life of their daughter in a murder-suicide. Three years later, she confronts her trauma by assisting another woman in her own fight for custody.

Eliza Beltz is a graduate of New York University where she earned a B.F.A. in Film and Television and a Minor in Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology. A Director, Producer, and Director of Photography, Beltz is based in both New York City and Pittsburgh and constantly collaborating on projects in both cities. She has extensive set experience as a Production Assistant from her work with production studios such as Netflix, Amazon, and Lionsgate. She is currently the 1st Team PA on HBOMax’s “And Just Like That”, the Sex and the City reboot. As a filmmaker, Beltz is driven to tell untold and impactful stories through the art of film.
