Rhys Marc Jones is a Welsh-Irish filmmaker who received his MFA in writing and directing from NYU Tisch School of the Arts as a BAFTA scholar. His three student shorts have played film festivals worldwide including Hamptons IFF, Leeds IFF, Los Angeles FF, Palm Springs, Encounters and Galway Film Fleadh. His latest short film 'Father of the Bride' will premiere at SXSW 2020 and will be broadcast on BBC in spring 2020. He is developing his first feature film 'Black Church Bay' through the iFeatures scheme, supported by BFI and BBC Films and the Cannes Cinéfondation Residence.
