Nay Tabbara is a Lebanese Filmmaker based between New York and Beirut, currently pursuing her MFA in Filmmaking at NYU Tisch's Graduate Film program. Before moving to New York in 2017, Nay built her on set experience working as an Assistant Director in Lebanon on several award winning pictures, the highlight being the Academy Awards nominee for Best Foreign Film: The Insult, by Ziad Doueiri.

Nay's stories revolve around her experience as a Lebanese woman making part of a largely hybrid society. Her films are inspired by personal experiences, but carry universal themes that appeal to a broader audience.
