Synopsis: Life is nothing but a competition to be the criminal rather than the victim. Khadija, a young, Caribbean Bronxite, must begin her first day as a housekeeper to support her infant and her sickly mother. Foretold by the warnings her mother, a voyager herself into the lavish and morally-corrupted uptown world, Khadija discovers the scene of a crime whilst cleaning. She scrambles to leave the apartment when, suddenly, she hears a key in the door...
