Synopsis: Jitka and Jaromir, a married couple in their seventies, live their routine-filled day-to-day life while constantly getting on each other's nerves. Upon hearing on the radio that the end of the world is coming, they start working together to get ready for the apocalypse. When the day finally comes, they have to deal with a surprising twist of events, which ends up being a beginning of a new, unexpected adventure.

Aleksandra Podziewska, born and raised in Warsaw, Poland, is currently completing her last semester at NYU Tisch. She shot her intermediate project "The End of the World" in the fall 2019 in Prague, where she participated in the 35mm Visual Storytelling Program.
