Writer/Director Jee Hoon (Fred) Seo grew up in Boston before picking up filmmaking during his year abroad in Spain at the age of 16. He returned to NYU in 2021 as a sophomore after serving in the Korean Army and working as a surf instructor during his leave of absence. Fred’s latest project titled 20s.30s. is a Korean Romance/American Drama narrative short. It is about a Korean couple with a 10 year age gap that wrestles with the difficulties of long distance due to Tae’s career at architecture school in New York. Asian Cinevision is fiscally sponsoring the project and it will go into production in October’22. Distribution is set for spring’23 when it will enter multiple domestic and international film festivals.
