Synopsis: In an attempt to move forward, and get back out into the world, a single mother hires a babysitter for the night of her date. The babysitter is told not to disturb the baby while sleeping as she is learning how to self-soothe.

Rhea Dudani is a filmmaker with a passion for feminism and politics, who specializes in creating female-centric narratives to break the glass ceiling. Rhea’s first film, recorded on her mother’s camcorder, featuring her sister and her mother’s house plants, debuted in 2008. Since then, she has made—and crewed on—a plethora of films both inside and outside school.

Rhea has her B.F.A in Film and Television from the Tisch School of the Arts, and now works as an Associate Producer at AKPD Message & Media, making political ads for the 2022 Midterm Election. Most recently, Rhea worked as an Associate Producer at Big Mouth Productions and a Production Coordinator for Hazel Pictures, making short and feature-length documentaries from start to finish.

Rhea has production credits for En Sus Manos (2022), The Martha Mitchell Effect (2022), Storm Lake (2021), Pure (2021), ads made by the DNC for the 2020 Election, for PBS’s POV on Season 33 (2020) and 34 (2021), and HBO’s Atlanta’s Missing and Murdered (2020). Her projects mean a lot to her, each one stemming from a personal passion or perspective.
