Bored and raised in suburban New Jersey, Brian Erickson watched a lot of films growing up and began making some in high school. While pursuing a Film & TV degree at NYU he continued making films with more intimate, personal narratives, and, by focusing on writing, directing, and editing them, has spared dozens of viewers from watching him "act".

"Peace & Quiet" is inspired by real ringing in his ears (note to adventure-seekers: if you happen to study abroad in Berlin and frequent the nightclubs, wear earplugs) and marks the culmination of his undergraduate filmmaking.
