Max Phillips is a director in New York City and graduate from the Tisch Class of 2017. He grew up in Colorado where much of his time was spent working with other students on productions, and at local film festivals, including the Boulder International Film Festival and the Telluride Film Festival. It was at these festivals where he first discovered his passion for narrative storytelling. He came to NYU to pursue a career working in film and television, and now resides within the city working as a freelance sound designer and editor. His goal is to be a professional sound designer & mixer for television, streaming, and commercial work.
