Ayesha Anna Ninan is a filmmaker in Mumbai, India.
She began her career as an editor and has gone on to write and direct her own short films in India, Singapore and Vietnam.
During her time in film school, she discovered that her primary interests lie in producing.
As a producer, she has collaborated on commercials, music videos and short films across Southeast Asia that have screened at festivals around the world.
Most recently, she developed and headed the production department at India's premiere comedian Vir Das' production company in Mumbai.
She holds a BA in Media Studies and Sociology from the University of Virginia and an MFA in film production from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts Asia.
