Phil Giordano is an Italian-American filmmaker from Staten Island, New York. He received his MFA from New York University Tisch School of the Arts Asia. Immediately after graduating, he accepted a contract to work as a director at one of the top production companies in Singapore. While there, they were nominated for Production Agency of the Year. Since then, Phil has won two commercial directing awards. His NYU thesis SUPOT was a finalist at the Starz Denver Screenwriting Competition, a Semi-Finalist at the SHOWTIME Tony Cox Screenwriting Competition and won the Grand Jury Prize at the New York Screenplay Contest. SUPOT had its World Premiere at the 21st Busan International Film Festival in the Wide Angle: Asian Short Film Competition section. His feature script "Race to 23", to be shot in Manila, Philippines was recently selected to the prestigious SAFF (Southeast Asia Film Financing Project Market) in Singapore.
