Congratulations to students Luke Williams and Benji Tucker for being picked for The 53th ASIFA-East Animation Festival. ASIFA-East is one of the longest running festivals of its kind. The festival is a unique showcase for the most groundbreaking independent and commercial animation being produced in the industry today.
Luke Williams is an artist and filmmaker originally from Dallas, Texas . He is currently a freshman in York University's Tisch School of the arts' undergrad film and television program. His films range between live-action and animation and vary between different genres. Luke is currently assisting with animation on other various student projects and hopes to produce another animated short during the summer.

Other World: A crooked detective who attempts to blackmail a shady company for a gruesome homicide case, and in the process discovers a mysterious Other World.
Benji Tucker is a film director, production designer, and artist based in Los Angeles and New York. He specializes in musicals, fantasies, and dark horror comedies. Benji Tucker is known for his use of techniques that originated from the Golden Age of Hollywood; whether that be classically animating by hand or using large painted backdrops. He is currently majoring in Film and Television Production at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
