Jonathan Yi (UGFTV Class of 2005) teaches Camera 1, Camera 2, and Sight & Sound Filmmaking at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. He served as Technical Advisor for Canon USA in the development of the C300, which was Canon's first product in the Cinema EOS lineup and the first product by Canon developed outside of Japan. Yi has shot music videos for legendary artists such as Paul McCartney, Twisted Sister, Poison, Andrew WK, and Daniel Johnston. His feature "Mad Tiger" was called "one of the top 10 documentaries to watch" by Indiewire. It picked up multiple film festival awards and went on to screen in theaters around the world.
