Melacast

The Melacast Network is a platform built to connect actors, directors, and crew of color with the opportunities, talent, and resources needed to tell culturally rich & diverse stories in film.

The company was founded by NYU alum, Ewurakua Dawson-Amoah, who came up with the idea for the company in 2018, after realizing how difficult it was to find diverse talent on major casting platforms.

The Melacast Network is run and co-founded by NYU Sophomore, Adrian Sobrado, who heads operations, and '12 Rutgers Graduate, Ewuradjoa Dawson-Amoah, head of marketing and PR.
