UGFTV Producing for Animation Series: Shauna McGarry

Shauna McGarry grew up in Southern California, and graduated from NYU, Tisch School of the Arts. She’s writing an original animated pilot for Adult Swim/HBO Max, and is currently the executive producer of a new animated sci fi comedy for Amazon. She most recently wrote for “BoJack Horseman”, "Katy Keene", and “Tuca & Bertie” for which she won an Annie Award for Best Writing. Shauna is a board member at the non-profit media school, Echo Park Film Center, where she has taught for 15 years. A comedic storyteller, Shauna's stories have been featured on various stage and radio shows, most recently at The Moth MainStage.
