The Fall 2022 Production Fair 

The Production Office presents a series of two virtual events with filmmaking experts as our Fall 2022 Production Fair, held over zoom this semester. Open to all! 

As we do at each fair, we have some fun prizes for our students as a thank you for attending!  We have two leathermans and a few movie tickets to give out to Open Arts, and Film and TV students who are able to attend these sessions.  Both of these events will be recorded.

Seed & Spark : Film Budgeting: How to Do it and Talk About it

How much should you crowdfund for? The answer may surprise you: as much as you need to move your project forward! In this workshop,
Seed & Spark’s Bri Castellini will teach you how to build a budget, utilize loans to make up your budget (conceptually as well as literally), navigate the ask, break down your script, and get creative with ways to cut costs without sacrificing your vision.

Casting Tips with Backstage

Our friends at Backstage will explain the most effective strategies for casting today, including tips on writing breakdowns. Arming yourself with this expertise will get you access to the best actors and performances for your films.
