FMX 2019 conference in Stuttgart
At the FMX 2019 conference in Stuttgart (4/30-5/3), Academy Award-winning filmmaker and animation historian, Professor John Canemaker gave four different illustrated speeches on aspects of animation history to full houses, and at the Filmakademie Animationinstitute in nearby Ludwigsburg. He spoke about his own films, including The Moon and the Son.
Prof. Canemaker, expressed his enthusiasm about FMX 2019: "FMX is a super event - impressive in the quality and breadth of the presentations and hospitality shown! It was of great value to me as a filmmaker and educator."
Each venue publicized Professor Canemaker as the head of NYU's Animation program at Tisch School of the Arts, and he was interviewed by European press reps. A video interview will appear soon on the FMX website.
