Join us in celebrating the 50th anniversary of Tisch Drama! Prior to the March 2nd, matinee performance of TISCH DRAMA STAGE's Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, at the new Iris Cantor Theatre (38 West Houston Street), the Department of Drama will host a special reception in the Riese Lounge (721 Broadway). From 11:00am - 1:00pm alumni can enjoy light refreshments, network, and reconnect with friends and fellow students. There’ll also be opportunities to stroll through the department and reminisce about your time at Tisch Drama.
During the reception, we will host a panel discussing the current production and share insights from past productions. Panelists include key members from the 2004 production of Sweeney Todd at the Skirball Center: Director Frank Ventura, actor Nick Cianfrogna (Tobias), Stage Manager Elena Soderblom, and Costume Designer Ali (Clark) Kallis. After the reception, there will also be opportunities for alumni to stroll through the department and reminisce about their time at Tisch Drama.
