Associate Arts Professor, Cari Ann Shim Sham* presents her photography and music at the Jusdon Memorial Church $100 Dollar Art Show on Thursday, May 16th 7-10pm. 

Cari Ann Shim Sham* is a wild artist working in Virtual Reality, Immersive & Interactive Media Design, Video Art, Dance, Theater and Cinema. Her awards include Best VR as the Director of the Parksville Murders from NYC Indie Film Fest & Best VR from Samsung VR Gallery, Best Director from the First Glance Film Festival & Best Short Doc from St. Louis & Oxford Film Festivals for her film SAND.  Her live work and video art has shown at notable venues such as Jacob's Pillow,The Krannert Center, Clarice Smith Art Center, Danspace in NYC, Dance Place, DC and REDCAT, and is currently touring with David Rousseve|Reality’s Halfway to Dawn. Her work has exhibited at the Future of Storytelling, the Samsung Developer’s Conference: Samsung VR An Evening in 360, Lincoln Center, BAM, Jacob's Pillow, PS 21, Peak Performances, the Joyce Soho, The Krannert Center, Clarice Smith Art Center, Danspace in NYC, Dance Place, DC and REDCAT, Laemmle Sunset 7, Mann Chinese Theater, and the United Nations General Assembly, as well as 200+ festivals internationally including Cannes, Austin, Seattle, Dance Camera West & DFA in New York.
