NYU Tisch Dance Professor, Angie Pittman, announced as a Faculty Fellow for NYU's Center for Humanities

Assistant Arts Professor Angie Pittman, announced as a Faculty Fellow for NYU's Center for Humanities program, is bringing together a group of distinguished, established, and emerging scholars to engage in cross-disciplinary discussion while advancing a current project.

The Center for the Humanities draws on the talents and energies of NYU faculty and students to provide a forum for cross-disciplinary discussion and collaboration in the humanities and the arts. With the aim of fostering and enhancing the humanities community at NYU, the Center sponsors a number of endeavors aimed at promoting interdisciplinary dialogue, teaching, and research.

NYU Tisch Dance Professor, Angie Pittman's current project is called "Holy Defiance", a two-pronged written and performance project, centering the divinity of dark resistance.
