Crush, a play written and directed by Christopher Paul Richards (Collaborative Arts '26) will premiere at the New York Play Festival on June 15th. Crush is a three character play that explores an intimate relationship between two confused teenagers (Cherry and Billie), over the course of a year, who share a sexual mishap that shapes their lives. It was originally developed with the support of a grant from Collaborative Arts in 2024.
Other Collaborative Arts alumni involved in the project include Nicholas Dinner ('26) as a producer, and Malina Weissman ('25) as a cast member. Tickets for the performances on June 15th, 19th, and 21st can be found on the New York Theater Festival website.
