Leonard Cortana

PhD student Leonard Cortana has been named a 2017-2018 NYU Social Sector Leadership Diversity Fellow with the NYU Leadership Initiative. As part of the fellowship, Leonard would like to combine his academic research with the completion of new projects that engage marginalized youth with interactive artistic events.

The NYU SSLD Fellowship is an 18-month leadership development program that equips graduate students of color wit hthe skills, knowledge, and networks needed to take up leadership roles in organizations across the social sector. Current SSLD fellows represent various NYU graduate programs, and their interests range from founding social ventures to running government agencies.
