At WGBH/American Archive of Public Broadcasting, my tasks involved quality-control cataloguing, copyright clearance checks, and writing condensed episode descriptions for the "ZOOM (1972-1978): Children’s Community and Public Television in the 1970s" exhibit featured on the AAPB website. I gained invaluable experience with metadata and how to practically evaluate public broadcasting programs for appropriate public consumption. Additionally, I learned about the processes involved in digitizing collections, how grant-funded projects work, proper care of digital files, and developed a unique skill in writing episode descriptions.
