Writing Up A Multiverse
A Masterclass On Branched Narrative Storytelling

by Tobias Weber-Ingold, Writer/Director of Late Shift

Friday, April 15, 7:00 pm ET
Virtual Event on Zoom

Filmmakers around the world are currently rediscovering the exciting potential of branched narrative films. While the element of choice opens inspiring new opportunities to explore multiple avenues of a story, the complexity and sheer volume of such a storytelling effort can also be daunting. Given the infinite possibilities of a multiverse of conceivable plots, it is easy to lose sight of the forest for the trees.

In this masterclass, Tobias Weber-Ingold, writer/director of LATE SHIFT, talks about his approach to writing branched narratives, provides insight into the methods and tools he uses from first draft to script delivery and discusses the similarities and differences to the traditional linear filmmaking process – providing aspiring interactive filmmakers with the tools to get started on their own story multiverse.

Free and open to the public.
