In celebration of UNESCO World Day for Audiovisual Heritage 2015, the AMIA Student Chapter at NYU would like to invite you to our "Archives at Risk: Protecting World Identities" screening!

Hosted by the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, the screening will take place on Saturday, November 7th, at 3pm. Join us for an afternoon of archival films, video art, recently produced documentaries, and more!

This eclectic screening will feature works from different institutions and collections, including:
The NYPL Reserve Film and Video Collection
The NYPL Jerome Robbins Dance Division Collection
Recently preserved videos from XFR Collective
Recently produced documentaries by Human Rights Watch

Join us, as we celebrate archival materials’ unique ability to document cultural experiences, expose injustices and make you want to dance!

If you will be in the New York area, we would love to see you SATURDAY NOVEMBER 7TH AT 3:00 PM, at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts (40 Lincoln Center Plaza, New York, NY 10023), in the 3rd floor screening room!
