Born and raised in Los Angeles, the city itself inspired me to grab a camera and document my surroundings. I've been a street photographer since my Junior year of high school, where taking photographs of just about anything that captures my eye has become a normality. Now with a degree in journalism, the desire to further my education stopped when I was accepted to NYU's Arts Politics.
What drew you to the MA in Arts Politics?
My hunger to advocate against the fast growing gentrification that my neighborhood is experiencing is the main reason why this program
grabbed my interest. My eagerness of being able to accomplish this through my art is what is most important to me. Through this degree and the program's resources, I know I will achieve that.
