What drew you to the M.A. in Arts Politics?

In my teens I said I wanted to be a dancer and a lawyer, in myapplication for undergrad, I said I want to get a grammy, save the monkeys in the rainforest, and help kids with trauma. Nothing has changed, I still want to be and already am many things. I was drawn to this program because it honors and allows for this multitude. It offers an opportunity to explore and create in a progressive space and in an engaged community. The teachers, the school, the core classes combined with a school-wide array of awesome elective classes, all make it a pretty magical program to combine my background in dance, drama, performance and gender, my current work in acting, film, television, and volunteer work in suicide intervention and women's groups, with my desire to learn about policy, history, animals, the environment, and explore the ways I can create change.  It's a magical program!
