What drew you to the MA Arts Politics program?

In the past few years, I have found it increasingly difficult to succinctly describe what it is that I "do". I teach meditation, I work in arts administration, I am involved with various social justice initiatives. I was drawn to the M.A. Arts Politics program because it welcomes interdisciplinary work. It offers space for artists, scholars, administrators, even biologists to learn, play, and to live in a liminal space that defies categorization. The program offers me a framework for exploring how I want my work to exist in the world while showing me that there is no need to reduce that work, or my title to just one "thing".
