Rachel Davis

Rachel Camille Davis grew up in the Pacific Northwest where she was surrounded by nature, fresh produce, and the sea air.  She was involved in athletic activities from hiking and biking to volleyball, basketball, and golf. While studying at the University of Washington, she earned two degrees with a minor in French.  She studied at the Jackson School of International Studies where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Politics with a focus on Europe.  Rachel also earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the School of Art at the University of Washington. 

During one summer of her undergraduate education, her language studies took her to Paris for a study abroad.  Her desire to make a change in the world led to several political internships, taking her to Washington D.C. for a Legislative Internship for her State Senator. 

Following her studies in Seattle, she taught English in Cherbourg, France.  Rachel utilized that time to enhance her language skills, travel, and experience Europe and Africa.  Between international instructor positions, she worked in public schools as a substitute teacher from kindergarten to high school.  Her next educational adventure took her to Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, a university in Puebla Mexico.  Rachel returned to France the following year to teach English at a middle and high school in Dunkerque. 

After traveling to over twenty-two countries, living in some of the most beloved cities and countries around the world, she was eager to go back to school.  She chose to get a master at New York University in Tisch School of the Arts, focusing on Arts Politics.  Rachel’s time in New York City has allowed her to solidify her artistic voice and create a path towards bridging cultures from one continent to the next.
