Chenglu Liang
MA Arts Politics Class of 2016
When in college, Chenglu majored in history and minored in Cognition, Language and Mind. When studying history, she was fascinated by the works of European intellectuals. Originally from Beijing, she likes to read in English and thinks that English is a beautiful language.
However, she does not forget to appreciate the art of Chinese language and Chinese literature. Through dancing and practicing Chinese calligraphy, she gains a deeper understanding of arts. Chenglu recognizes herself as a person who is interested in ideas, methods, strategies, and theories. She comes to NYU not only to study arts politics, but also in the hope of exploring New York City and finding her potential.
