Lauren Nixon

Lauren Nixon is a people and culture leader who is energized by mobilizing and coaching high-impact teams to connect to one another and their organizational mission. She also guides organizations toward building strong, equitable internal processes and operational infrastructure. Nixon currently works as the Associate Director of People and Culture with National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO). Lauren has a rich background in people and culture work, team management, operations, organizational development, professional development design, and curriculum design that she has utilized at organizations including The Democracy Collaborative, The Institute for Public Health Innovation, FoodCorps, The Free Library of Philadelphia and more. Lauren holds a MA from New York University and a BA from The New School where she serves as a mentor to undergraduate, graduate, and alumni students
