Department of Art & Public Policy Chair Pato Hebert receives the 2021 "*This Is Not a Drill*" Fellowship. They will be acting at the forefront of change as current events in public policy are explored.

The "*This Is Not a Drill*" Fellowship is all about bringing together technology, the arts, critical thinking, and activism to deal with the inseparable problems that come with coinciding growth in technology and climate change impacts. "*This Is Not a Drill*" Fellows will work collaboratively to create a public pedagogy - a emerging assemblage of forms, processes, and sites of education and learning that occur beyond formal educational practices that work to engage the public sphere. "*This Is Not a Drill*" is led by Program Director and inaugural Future Imagination Collaboratory Fellow Mona Sloane.
