Arts Politics Alum launches Global Open Call for Art with Amplifier

Cleo Barnett '16, along with Amplifier Art - the organization she runs as it's Executive Director, initiated an emergency campaign in response to COVID-19. The global call for art will award $1,000 apiece to 60 artists through May 8th.

The artworks will be distributed widely. Art selected by a jury of artists, curators and public health professionals like Shepard Fairey, Hank Willis Thomas and Nancy Spector are available as free downloads on the Amplifier website. There is also open voting in which members of the public can cast a vote in support artwork that resonates with them.
