"Moral History" by Karen Finley
Arts Politics Professor Karen Finley was invited to speak about her work in an event titled "Walking the Walk: Karen Finley and Sharon Louden Discuss their Careers in Art, Advocacy and Activism" this past Saturday, October 26th at C24 Gallery.
Finley's work "Moral History" featured at the Word Up! exhibition on display until November 9th. Word Up! is an exhibition that demonstrates the power of words, which can, depending on how they are applied, save, kill, be harmful or helpful, and in many cases, be extremely powerful. Word Up! offers a global range of voices exploring the ways in which text can offer commentary through diverse languages on current protests, vulnerability, the human condition and the state of the world today.
