After opening a stand selling produce from his family’s farm to help pay for art textbooks in college, Jon Henry has now evolved his business into Jon Henry General store in New Market, VA. He sells a variety of locally sourced goods from vendors with whom he builds strong relationships and is also committed to sharing products made internationally under fair trade practices. He is rigorous and intentional about how he builds inventory, and also committed to providing personal service to customers. Next up, he’ll plan to open a gallery!
