Ariel Goldberg's book of poetry, The Photographer was published by Roof Books in 2015. Their book length essay The Estrangement Principle is forthcoming from Nightboat Books in 2016. Other publications include Picture Cameras (NoNo Press, 2010) and The Photographer without a Camera (Trafficker Press, 2011). Goldberg is a research fellow at the New York Public Library's Wertheim Study. They are the recipient of a 2013 Franklin Furnace Fund grant for a series of performances and slideshows.
Goldberg has been an artist in resident at Headland's Center for the Arts, The Invisible Dog, n/a gallery, Residencias Artísticas Intercambios and SOMA in Mexico City. They have performed at MoMa, Anthology Film Archives and the New Museum, among other venues. Goldberg is the Friday Night Coordinator at the Poetry Project.
