Jacob Watkins

Jacob Watkins is an artist and educator who has a BFA in Art & Design with a concentration in photo-imaging from Towson University. Additionally, they hold degrees in visual communications, photography, and graphic design & multimedia from Cecil College where they worked in the Visual Communications Lab nearly 10 years as an adjunct photography instructor.

Their art practice is mostly in photography but they also like to experiment with other digital formats like projections, video, and coding. Always ready to talk about art theory and brainstorm ideas on how to express those ideas, they are very excited to join the DPI team and help the students become better artists and humans.
