Daniel Patterson

Daniel Patterson is a native New Yorker, who holds a B.A. in Theater from Morehouse College (2004), and an M.F.A. in Film Production from NYU, Tisch Graduate Film School (2010). He has worked professionally since 2010 on feature films, feature documentary films, music videos, commercials and television series as Cinematographer, and Director Of Photography. The films have premiered at national and international festivals, as well as achieving theatrical releases. Daniel has filmed in Africa, Asia, South America, and across numerous states in the United States. Some of the projects can be seen on Netflix, Showtime, HBO, PBS, Comedy Central, as well as other media distributors. Most recently, Daniel was the Director Of Photography for Spike Lee's new Netflix series, She's Gotta Have It. An adjunct professor, Daniel teaches Cinematography in the Graduate Film School at New York University, Tisch School of the Arts.
