Sorina Cimpoiesu
Manager, Service Desk
Sorina is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of service-desk operations to ensure users’ requests are resolved on time and to high user satisfaction. She manages the service desk technical support agents and serves as the team liaison to the school and university IT - impacting initiatives.
Originally from Romania, Sorina studied Mechanical Engineering at Polytechnic University of Bucharest, where she completed a Master’s degree. Sorina is a computer enthusiast, and after moving to the U.S., she studied Computer Science at CUNY College of Staten Island and received a second Master’s degree. In her free time, Sorina enjoys watching movies and attending plays and concerts.
