Andrew Goldman

Andrew Goldman is an accomplished, creative, and results-driven leader who excels at driving high-impact audience engagement. Respected across the industry for his deep relationships and exceptional ability to collaborate and negotiate, he brings extensive real-world expertise spanning entertainment, corporate leadership, and professional development. He specializes in developing and launching new linear and digital initiatives, strategic acquisitions, multi-platform scheduling, and channel development targeting both broad and specific demographics. As a speaker, Andy challenges professionals to leverage their core strengths, maximize leadership capabilities, and execute strategic decisions that align with organizational visions.

Andy is currently the EVP/Head of Content Pipeline at Phanes Funding Group, a blockchain application business model that incorporates proprietary and non-proprietary technology to fundamentally transform how the investment and distribution of revenue is managed for financing content in the entertainment industry.

He was the SVP of Programming at Fathom Entertainment, an entertainment content provider that broadcasts entertainment events in movie theaters throughout the US including film, television, theatre, Metropolitan Opera Live in HD, the performing arts, major sporting events, and music concerts.  He oversaw acquisitions of high-value content with broad audience appeal.

Andy was the SVP/Head of Programming at Ateliere Entertainment Technologies (formerly Ownzones), a global provider of technology and media solutions for the motion picture, television and digital content creation industries. He oversaw the long-term content strategy and development and acquisition of all programming.

Andy Co-Founded and acted as the Chief Strategy Officer at TVtibi, an emerging global over-the-top (OTT) service offering a variety of channels, shows, episodes, films, and other programming, both live and on-demand, direct to consumers. 

As Vice President of Program Strategy and Planning, HBO/Cinemax, for Home Box Office, Andy was responsible for the linear and digital strategic planning of all programming for HBO/Cinemax’s 15 multiplex channels and platforms such as HBO Now (OTT), HBO Go, MAX Go, and Video On Demand. He directed the programming calendar during all points of its creation and transformation from the daily scheduling output to long-range planning. During his tenure, the company boasted 17 years of record setting program ratings growth.

Prior to Home Box Office, Andy began his career as a screenplay analyst at Warner Bros., where he worked with various studio-based producers on developing properties into feature films such as “Lethal Weapon”, “The Lost Boys” and “Flatliners”.

Andy earned an MA in Cinema Studies from New York University’s Tisch School of Arts and a BA in Political Science/Communications from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School.  He is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (ATAS), the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS), the National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE), the British Academy of Film & Television Arts (BAFTA), and the Paley Center for Media and National Association of Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC).

He served on the Board of Governors at the Friars Club and the Alumni Council at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.  Andy is also a volunteer with the New York Cares Children’s Education Project.  He lectures on media studies at major universities including USC, UCLA, Fordham University, Carnegie Mellon University, the Newhouse School at Syracuse University and the Wharton School of Business.  In addition, Andy has been an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Film & Television at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts since 2004. 

Andy currently resides in Scarsdale, NY with his wife, Laura and daughter, Danielle.
